Buttered Noodles with Chicken (Printable Recipe)

Juicy chicken pieces and egg noodles coated in a rich garlic butter mixture - a cozy, fast dinner you can put on the table in less than half an hour.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb diced chicken thighs or breasts, chopped into small chunks
02 - 8 oz egg noodles (or whatever pasta you prefer)
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
04 - 3 tablespoons plain butter, split
05 - 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
06 - Salt and pepper, as needed
07 - 1 teaspoon mixed Italian herbs (or combine dried basil with parsley)
08 - 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan (if you want)
09 - Chopped fresh parsley for topping

# How to Make It:

01 - Boil the egg noodles in a big pot following the package directions until slightly firm. Drain and put aside.
02 - Warm the olive oil in a wide skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle salt and pepper on your chicken chunks, then toss them in the pan. Cook about 5-7 minutes until they're golden and done inside. Take them out and set aside.
03 - Using that same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Throw in the garlic and Italian herbs, letting them cook for a minute or two until they smell good.
04 - Put your drained noodles and the last tablespoon of butter into the skillet. Stir everything so the noodles get coated with the buttery mixture, then add your cooked chicken back in. Shake some Parmesan on top if you'd like, and scatter fresh parsley around. Serve it hot and dig in!

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Boost nutrition by adding some steamed broccoli, green peas, or fresh spinach for extra color.
02 - Want more zing? Squeeze some fresh lemon juice on top before you eat.
03 - You can warm up any leftovers the next day and they'll still taste great.
04 - For a creamier sauce, pour in 1/4 cup heavy cream while adding the butter.
